Hannah Gabriel Castro Fisahn is a Psychology graduate from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, currently pursuing a Master’s in Neuropsychology at UCP/ISPA.
Over the years, particularly since high school, she has reflected deeply on the professional path she wishes to pursue. During the quarantine period, her interest in psychology emerged organically. Being confined at home pushed her to confront herself and embrace silence—something she had often postponed. She spent hours engaging with content that deepened her understanding of both herself and others, through TED Talks, books, podcasts, and documentaries. This period of inquiry and self-exploration revealed to her that her curiosity could be channeled into a career in psychology.
During her undergraduate studies, she developed a particular passion for neuropsychology, which bridges science, behavior, and the mind. She is fascinated by how the brain and body influence our mental and emotional states, decisions, and habits—and how these, in turn, affect our physiology. She is particularly interested in neuroplasticity, the bidirectional relationship between physical health and cognitive performance, and the impact of female hormonal cycles on neural functioning.
Her research interests include Performance Neuropsychology, feminine and hormonal well-being, biohacking, and evidence-based strategies for cognitive and lifestyle optimization. Passionate about applying science to everyday life, Hannah bridges the gap between rigorous research and practical tools for mental and physical performance. Alongside her academic career, she develops side projects including web design, brand promotion, and curated lifestyle content. She is building a personal brand that combines neuroscience and well-being aiming to inspire others to live smarter, healthier, and more intentional lives.
